The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Engagement and Attraction Toolkit

The DEIB Toolkit is a FREE online resource aimed at helping human service professionals improve the agency's diversity, educate on inclusive leadership practices, design equitable strategies, and foster cultures of belonging. Embracing research and voices from the sector, the resource was created by Jonathan Meagher-Zayas of Equity Warrior Strategies in partnership with the New York State Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation and the Regional Centers for Workforce Transformation; funded by OPWDD. The toolkit follows a strategic framework that supports leaders at every stage of their DEIB journey. You can find educational lessons, strategies, information on developing key skills, tools and templates, and training materials. The toolkit was designed to support leaders, directors, human resources and employee engagement staff, DEIB committee members, and anyone looking to advance belonging in their workplace.
