DEI 107: Nothing About Us Without Us – How Ableism Shows Up in Services and What Providers Can Do Better

Join us for an interactive panel discussion featuring self‑advocates who will share their lived experiences navigating disability services and supports. This session will explore how ableism, paternalism, and bias can unintentionally shape service delivery, relationships, employment, family life, and community participation.

 Attendees will gain practical strategies to promote person‑centered living, self‑determination, dignity, and meaningful inclusion. Learn how providers may unintentionally get it wrong—and what they can do to improve services and support true person‑centered living.
